If you tell yourself you’re free, but you’re not free, you’re lying.
If you take actions as if you’re free to show people how free you are, you’re lying twice (This is called rebelliousness).
If you tell yourself you want to be free, and you’re not taking the time to examine the chains that bind you (shame and conditioned responses), thinking you want to be free is a lie too.
It takes guts to admit we want to be codependent, captive, stuck, and suffering.
If we aren’t free to admit that, we can’t get to the stage where we can change our minds to genuinly wanting to be free and becoming willing to examine the bindings.
