There is an optimal way

There is an optimal way to read.
And an optimal way to listen.
And an optimal way to watch movies.
And an optimal way to process your day.
And an optimal way to perceive your identity.
Usually, people are listening and reading and understanding through their rational minds. This tendency seems logical but is actually a coping mechanism caused by emotional repression.
For example, I might share a piece of writing.
One person will read the writing as “geeky brain knowledge” and another person will read the writing as “a deeply transformational journey”.
And yet another sees it as “faux scientific psychobabble”.
Why does one person see what I wrote as academic, one sees it as nonsense, and one sees it as moving poetry?
Because they are reading it in totally different ways.
Reading it through the rational mind versus reading it through the heart and body.
Of course, some (minimal) engagement of the mind is necessary in order to read language and words.
But, if academic-looking words are read as if they are Sufi poetry, a fabulous effect occurs on the body – and contact is made with the true self.
This is possible only if the body remains open to the effects, using the mind as a tool.
If the body and mind are on lockdown, writings and movies and conversation with loved ones can not be interpreted correctly.
And then failure is the only option. The mind thinks it is open to getting the benefit when in fact it is committed to disappointment.
Listening to energy is much more accurate.
Energy is more vulnerable to listen to.
Most people absolutely refuse to even acknowledge the existence of listening this way.
It requires more patience, presence, and power.
It requires breathing, awakening, processing, and humility.
It requires an inventory of your ACTUAL experience, and not just telling yourself what the “ideal” experience is that you should be having.
If you are reading this from feeling you are nodding your head.
If you are reading this from your rational mind, you are repulsed by me right now.
