The Selfishness of Helping
‐——————————————
I love to help if it’s welcomed with consent.
And when I help, I make sure it really does help.
For it to be truly helpful, I have to be really clear about my reasons for helping.
All reasons are selfish.
But not necessarily self-centered.
Especially helping difficult people (who want help) is hugely rewarding. Navigating their resistance is like playing the game on “hard mode”.
This requires a heightened force of Intent, a ruthlessness that is unavailable to BS, and a sweetness of containment that requires consistent breathing and honest movements.
Helping someone else is s glorious test and opportunity to sharpen our sword.
And of course, True Altruism exists, but even altruism is selfish as consciousness assists itself in unlocking new layers. Everyone’s freedom is our freedom, it’s all intertwined.
When someone has a breakthrough in my presence, this is a deeper confirmation of what I already know to be true. That precious reflection is epic in its generosity.
I am getting by giving, even if getting is not even in my awareness. Usually, it’s not, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
In the process of ruthless kindness, a powerful reflection is generated for the individual I am serving. They receive a more powerful reflection than they would otherwise normally have access to. This breaks spells and pops bubbles, expanding power, and awareness.
The reflection I give to the person I’m serving, which affects them, is in turn a reflection for me. We are all mirrors of each other, some more accurate than others.
Even if you have a hard time believing in your skills, I encourage you to offer them to someone who doesn’t have them. It’s good for both of you. Even if no money is involved. Take every opportunity to keep building yourself.
Please see my other post from today about this week’s special if you want to experience The Quantum Theater.
Much love,
