Something must be sacrificed

As we grow to accommodate more power – as we become capable of holding more tension within us –
Something must be sacrificed.
We don’t receive the gift of maturity without saying goodbye to the old way of holding things.
Maturing means being willing to sacrifice anything for that which we truly value.
To be willing to sacrifice anything, our being must be expressed in pure fire. A space in which nothing can solidify.
Values are abstract ideas. They are formless notions of what we deem important.
And we form our physical world around the formless.
Form is sacrificed for the formless, just as cravings are sacrificed for the holy spirit.
Just as longings are sacrificed for intentions.
Just as guessing is sacrificed for Truth.
Just as insecurity is sacrificed for an honest gentle knowing.
There is no outcome in which you will not have to sacrifice.
Prepare the chopping block as a routine occurrence.
Only Truth makes it out alive.
